Dr Simon Lewis (Lewis) is a dual-heritage Consultant Clinical Psychologist making Psychology meaningful to everyday life and extraordinary circumstances. Whether you are looking for therapy, supervision, training or consultation, he is keen to make Psychology work for you.

Lewis is an Expert Witness in the Family Courts, providing comprehensive, evidence based reports and opinions. With many years experience of working with Adoptive Families, Children in Care and the Systems around them, his areas of particular specialism are Developmental Trauma, Attachment, Abuse and Neglect. He also provides opinion regarding Parental Alienation.

Lewis is passionate about trauma informed practice and makes every effort to understand the impact of people’s lived experiences on their daily lives. His approach is based on psychological formulation, to make sense of what a person is experiencing, and then using a range of integrated approaches to help people to make changes. He cares about empowering individuals to live the lives they want to live. He is committed to safeguarding and takes an anti-discriminatory stance.

Lewis offers discrete packages of care such as EMDR and CBT as well as weaving in other approaches such as CFT, CAT, DBT, Systemic Theory, Internal Family Systems and Psychodynamic concepts. With such a range of approaches, he will work with you to find the best fit for your needs.
